MethUnion Manor housing development opens.

(June) [Spring-DD] Built by Union Methodist Church, it is located at 375 – 475 Columbus Avenue. The building is subsequently found to be plagued by shoddy construction and its management experiences serious financial problems. Although a judge orders the development to be sold at auction in February 1975, the building becomes a tenant-owned cooperative in December 1984.
